Four ways to set it up.

The same six steps produce very different businesses. These illustrative setups show what to put in each step for four common kinds of service business. Copy the one nearest to yours and adjust.

A treatment studio with two rooms

Massage, physio or beauty treatments where the room is the constraint. Two therapists can work at once, so there are two resources; each service can run in either room.

Schedules
Weekdays 09:00 to 19:00, Saturday 09:00 to 16:00. One schedule reused by both rooms.
Resources
Treatment room 1, Treatment room 2, Gym floor for rehab sessions.
Services
30, 45 and 60-minute treatments; 60-minute rehab session on the gym floor. Each service lists both treatment rooms.
Team
Owner plus two employees, each on their own schedule. The calendar filter shows Myself, the whole team, or one therapist.
Payments
Online at booking for new clients; a six-session package for regulars; pay-at-site for walk-ins.
Extras
Email reminders 24 hours ahead; refunds issued from the booking when a client cancels in time.

A performance gym

Personal training and small group classes on one floor. Capacity, not rooms, is the constraint, so classes carry a headcount and a waiting list.

Schedules
Early (06:00 to 09:00), Daytime (09:00 to 17:00) and Evening (17:00 to 21:00), so classes and one-to-ones can differ by time of day.
Resources
Gym floor, Studio, Rig (for classes that need it).
Services
60-minute personal training (one-to-one); Strength, HIIT and Mobility classes with a capacity of 12 and a waiting list.
Team
Four coaches as employees. Employee discount lets coaches book each other's classes at a reduced rate.
Payments
Ten-session PT packages; class credits sold as packages; drop-in classes paid online.
Extras
A launch promo code for the first month; the client activity report flags members who have not booked in three weeks.

A yoga studio

Group classes only, with several teachers and a single room. Everything hangs off class capacity and a reliable waiting list.

Schedules
Morning (06:30 to 10:00), Lunch (12:00 to 14:00) and Evening (17:30 to 21:00).
Resources
Main studio. One resource, because only one class runs at a time.
Services
Vinyasa, Yin, Beginners and a 90-minute Saturday workshop, each with a capacity of 18 and a waiting list.
Team
Five teachers as employees, each attached to the classes they teach.
Payments
Unlimited-month and ten-class packages sold up front; single classes paid online.
Extras
Reminders the evening before; cancellations release the space to the waiting list automatically.

A hair salon

Several stylists, each with their own chair and their own hours. Clients book a stylist and a service; the chair follows.

Schedules
One per stylist, matching their days in. The salon's opening hours are the union of them.
Resources
Chair 1 to Chair 4, each on its stylist's schedule.
Services
Cut, Cut and colour, Blow-dry, Treatment, with a duration and price per service and the chairs that can provide it.
Team
Four stylists as employees. Each sees only their own column by default.
Payments
Pay-at-site for most bookings; online payment required for colour appointments to protect the time slot.
Extras
Amendments handled in the booking when a client wants to move a slot; a second business created for the owner's mobile wedding service.
